Yachting in this neck of the woods, tends to be big! A number of the worlds biggest and finest yachts frequent these waters along with hundreds of the more accessible variety. The waters around the Balearics archipelago are considered to be the centre of the mediterranean yachting scene, with hundreds of beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters some consider the area on a par with Caribbean cruising grounds, with the added touch of sophistication when the feet return to terra firma! All types are available for charter at various establishments, you’ll need some paperwork to show competence if you intend o be the captain. If you don’t have that then captains are available for hire too! Both Puerto Andratx and Sant Elm have scuba diving schools and water skiing is to be recommended
